ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO

Home > Portfolio

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a competitive robotics program that encourages me to innovate and engage with STEM disciplines by designing, building, and programming robots to compete in competitions. One key component of FTC is the Engineering Portfolio, which I have been responsible for on my team. It is a concise, structured record of a team's strategic plan, design processes, challenges encountered, and iterative improvements. The document provides a comprehensive overview of the team's journey throughout the season, showcasing the application of engineering principles in real-world scenarios, and enhancing understanding of the design process. It's an invaluable tool, underscoring me and my team’s technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

POWER PLAY

In POWERPLAY presented by Raytheon Technologies, I tested limits, balanced energy, and maximized potential, power, and performance. For the competition, I led development of the team’s Engineering Portfolio from start to finish. It had preformed well—having won an award at the first competition and helped the team qualify for the state championships.
